The Rathbun Center's "Making Room for the Children" campaign, launched this summer, will raise $1.1 million to expand and renovate the facility to accommodate guests with children.
Sadly, from 5 to 25 families are on the waiting list each day, hoping for a room at the Center. Our campaign will create not only a welcoming environment for children and families, but will increase the Center's overall capacity by 44%.
To successfully reach our goal and expand our capacity to serve families, we now reach out to our friends in Western North Carolina for their support of The Rathbun Center's vital mission of keeping families together during times of critical illness. Your gift to the campaign will help move families from the nightly waiting list into a welcoming room and the Rathbun Center's warm and caring environment.
