Meeting Rooms
The Lewis Rathbun Center is located in a peaceful setting on 17 wooded acres within 3 blocks of Mission Hospitals. Our mission as a nonprofit is to provide lodging to families of patients in area hospitals who reside outside Buncombe County. There is no charge for our guests to stay here.
Our goal in providing meeting space at a reasonable cost to the business community is twofold; first, we hope to generate income to support our mission and second, we feel that the Center offers the opportunity for groups to hold meetings in a beautiful facility at a convenient location.
We are pleased to offer the Lewis Rathbun Center for your meetings. Our library is set up in a board room configuration for up to 20 people. If you need a room that can be set up in several different configurations, our new meeting room downstairs should suit your needs (up to 24 people).
RESERVATIONS
Reservations may be made up to 3 months in advance of your meeting. To
reserve space, call Susan at (828) 251-0595. Please notify Susan if you must cancel your meeting at least 24 hours in advance.

We hope you enjoy your time with the Lewis Rathbun Center. We will be happy to provide your organization with a 5 minute presentation to inform you about our program. We can also take you on a house tour if time permits.
